Yogatherapy
Yoga therapy focuses on releasing habitual tensions and holding patterns to develop a healthy, effortless posture and unrestricted movement. We use a combination of yoga, body awareness, breathing techniques, visualisation, meditaitons and the principals of Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Influenced by Fledenkrais, Qigong, the Alexander Technique and Body-Mind Centring, this is a gentle approach with the emphasis on the process rather than the goal. It encourages the exploartion of yogic philosophy and principles to facilitate a greater understanding and application of the practice in daily life, making choices that reflect the growing harmony within.
