How often do you think 'I'll be happy when..........' or 'If only.....'How often are you with someone but not really there?Do you suffer from 'hurry sickness'?Do you measure hapiness by future gains and events?Do you constantly compare the present to the past? Are you preoccupied with expectations about the future?Do you live on autopilot, repeating old patterns or behaviours from the past?

With its roots in Buddhism, mindfulness involves bringing your awareness to focus on your experience within the present moment - bringing your mind back from the past, the future, or some disconnected train of thought. We are free to release a thought or 'let it go' when we realise that the thought may not be concrete or absolute truth.
